"The second problem is that the additions just don't improve upon the original experience in any significant way. The playable women are pretty, but their missions are short. The multiplayer is a great idea, but ultimately not conducive to Ninja Gaiden's style of combat. And lastly, for a game that is based completely around brutal violence and life or death confrontation, removing the blood was a bad idea."
Bubbles to Homicide. Great work.
Your comment makes no sense. Star Wars Episode I got 52% because it was a piece of trash that no one liked, especially the major movie critics.
ODST is heavily liked by all the major reputable reviewers.
You forget one thing. Professional reviewers are paid to give an honest opinion. That's what they make a living on. They need to bring in a paycheck to feed their children and make their car payments.
The reason why they are reputable is because th...
DonCorneo - The only difference is that metacritic, a website that takes the averages of all reputable reviews, gave Episode 1 a 52%, while Meta game ODST an average of 85%.
So your analogy is just plain awful.
I think this game is like a side-scrolling Gain Ground, where you cam rescue characters while you're playing and then play as them in subsequent levels.
But you can also lose characters that you'd eventually have to rescue to use them in the future.
It looks great! I'm probably gonna get this soon...
Powerstone HD or even a complete remake of the game would be a great addition that would help the 360 in Japan.
Persona 5 would be a welcomed addition, but since it would most likely be on the PS3 as well, it wouldn't help the 360 stand out.
I think it'd have to be something really new and innovative, like a game directed by Hayao Miyazaki or something like that. I think they need to strike at the core of Japanese pop culture to make a difference there.

The sites that I've trusted for YEARS for my reviews are:
IGN
Gamespot
Game Informer
1up
Gametrailers
GamePro
Destructoid
and Gamespy
----
And here are their scores:
IGN - 90%
Gamespot - 90%
Game Informer - 93%
1up - 91%
Gametrailers - 89%
GamePro - 90%
Destructoid - 80%
it's 85 on meta right now.
90 and above with ign, gamespot, game informer, edge, and 1up. Sells 2 million in 24 hrs.
...and it's a flop?
:\
what is it what is it!!!
this is the only new game i'll buy this year. i usually buy used, but this title is something i've been waiting for for a while
gta doesn't really count since all the music is all pop music that's already been written. It's more a compilation then an original soundtrack, plus it definitely doesn't fit the genre of epic, as indicated in the article
i dunno, for some reason, no one is posting ANY articles about the game. the thing is falling through the cracks
Yeah, I first listened to his stuff in Mulholland Drive, which quickly became one of my favorite movie soundtracks. I was on the fence about trying Indigo Prophecy, but when I read that he did the music, that definitely pushed me over the edge.
Way to recognize! Bubbles!

I thought one of the best things about Mirror's Edge was its main theme:

I wonder if they'll reveal DX11 to be compatible with the 360.
That would be the biggest bomb of all.
That's pretty awesome.
Kinda of disappointed with the exclusion of Angelo Badalamenti's soundtrack to Indigo Prophecy (Carla's Theme: http://www.youtube.com/watc... It was amazing and he certainly added to the atmosphere of the game in a way that no other composer could have.
edit: I just read the part about epic themes, so I guess Indigo Prophecy doesn't count. They should reword the title to Epic The...
Peter Moore's presence at EA Sports definitely has something to do with it. Always nice to have someone on the inside.
If they are to heavily promote Natal, they'll need a large first party developer that is well known.
Maybe this is it...
...Mirror's Edge on Natal...?
